Get a Solana wallet in 2 minutes.

A wallet is a free app that holds your coins. You need one to get the X Starter Bag: we send the coins to it, you don't pay anything and you don't sign anything.

    Install Phantom

    Phantom is the most popular Solana wallet. Get it from phantom.com/download: the App Store or Google Play on your phone, or the browser extension on a computer.

    Only install it from phantom.com or the official app stores: fake wallet apps exist. Solflare and Backpack work too.

  2. 02

    Create a new wallet

    Open the app and choose to create a new wallet (not "I already have a wallet"). Phantom may let you sign up with Google or Apple, which is the easiest way: your wallet is backed up to that account. Then set a password or Face ID.

    Save your recovery phrase

    If Phantom shows you 12 secret words, write them down on paper, in order, and keep them somewhere safe. They are the only way back into your wallet if you lose your phone.

    Never share these words. Anyone who has them owns your wallet. We will never ask for them, and nobody from X Starter Bag will ever DM you. If someone asks, it's a scam.

    Copy your Solana address

    Tap Receive, pick Solana and copy the address. It's a long line of letters and numbers, like this:

    Your address is public: it's fine to post it. It's how people send you coins, and nobody can take anything with it.

  5. 05

    Drop it under our post and repost

    Open our pinned post on X, reply with your Solana address and repost the post. That's all. You need:

    • 100+ followers on X
    • your Solana address in a reply under our pinned post
    • a repost of our pinned post

    You get into the queue on the site within a minute or two. One bag per X account.

  6. 06

    Check your wallet

    When your turn comes, the bag lands in your wallet by itself: $XBAG and a little of every coin in the bag. You'll see it on the Bags sent list too.

    Wallets sometimes hide coins they haven't seen before. If a coin is missing, look in Phantom's token list settings (hidden tokens) and turn it on.

    Getting the bag is free. To trade or send coins later you need a little SOL in the wallet for network fees (a few cents).
